Why is surcharge imposed:

Due to reasons* beyond our control, our partner florists may impose a surcharge. As such we have to pass the additional cost on to customers who wish and do not mind paying for the surcharge. We are pleased to announce that we will still maintain the "Lowest Price or Money Back on the Difference" Guarantee on your selected design.

*Reasons for surcharge for areas outside Klang Valley:

1. We at Love.com.my DO NOT MAKE any extra $ out of the surcharge. As such, with our slim profit margins we have no choice other than to pass the outstation surcharge on to our customers. Please compare our prices with other florist, we guarantee you that we offer you the best prices.

2. The Klang Valley production and delivery value chain is managed by Love.com.my using the best people, processes and technology that ensures lowest final cost to consumers. Florist outside Klang Valley simply do not have all the components and volume in place so their cost level is significantly higher.

3. Most of the surcharge are made by the middle-men who move the flowers and fillers from Klang Valley to the outstation areas. 

4. Some of our outstation partner florist simply takes the opportunity to make more money and to cover their expenses.

5. Some florist in smaller towns, especially if they are the only or dominant florist in that small town, will take monopolistic opportunity to raise prices because they know there is no way we at Love.com.my can ship the flower to those remote areas without deterioration in product quality. 

FINAL NOTE

If you feel strongly against paying surcharge, we at Love.com.my understand your position. Don't buy.

However, we hope you can give us the opportunity to negotiate, bargain and fight for a lower price in order for your loved one to receive your message of love. 

Lastly, we encourage you, if you're not sending flowers or having a romantic dinner together, to at least send a card or make a phone call to your loved one on the special occassion. It doesn't necessarily have to cost you any $ to make someone out there happy.
