Fast and Fresh Sdn. Bhd. fully subscribes to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Source: www.pdp.gov.my)
We have taken multiple precautions to ensure all your personal data is safe to the best of our abilities. In addition to this, we have implemented a reward scheme for those who are able to supply us with evidence of data breaches, subject to conditions. The reward scheme breaks down as follows:
REWARD SCHEME (EARN UP TO RM10,000.00)
1. A reward of RM10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Ringgit Malaysia) per customer whistleblower in cases where Fast and Fresh successfully uses their evidence to win a case against person/s who have stolen data.
2. A reward of RM1,000.00 (One Thousand Ringgit Malaysia) per customer whistleblower when we utilise their evidence in a court of law and the customer whistleblower assists in the entire process of evidence submission against the person/s who have stolen data.
3. A reward of RM100.00 (One Hundred Ringgit Malaysia) per customer whistleblower where the analysed evidence submitted is complete enough for further action to be taken. This is independent of action taken or to be taken against the alleged person/s who have stolen data.
As such, how would you as a customer know if your data has been stolen or how to qualify for the reward scheme above? Please read on the next section on Data Theft.
HOW CAN I TELL IF MY DATA HAS BEEN STOLEN?
As a visitor or customer on our website, you may have input certain information such as, but not limited to; your name, email, mobile phone number or landline. This is data you may take for granted, but can be very valuable for a data thief.
In some cases, the thief may try to contact you through some channel (email, sms, whatsapp, Facebook, phone, etc) in order to promote services competing with or related to Love.com.my. Receiving suspicious unsolicited contact like this can be a sign that they have got hold of your data.
I THINK MY DATA HAS BEEN STOLEN - NOW WHAT?
This is the easy part, but requires you to take action. We will encourage you to gather more evidence such as keeping records of their communication attempts. If you receive any sms, instant messages, emails from them, save a copy immediately.
You can even do more! Like placing an order with them and obtaining evidence produced thereafter.
Once you have obtained all the evidence you hope to, please submit it on to us for evaluation.
I THOUGHT YOU WERE PROTECTING MY DATA, HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?
While the great majority of communication over the internet is secure, it is impossible to ensure 100% protection. This is due to the high usage of mobile devices with cameras and plain old manual copying of information. While other methods may be possible, not wanting to teach thieves how to do their jobs, we can’t detail them here.
As such, although Fast and Fresh has invested heavily in security, in case it should fail we are also investing in detection and enforcement against non-compliances. There is where you can help.
ASIDE FROM ALL THE MONEY, WHY SHOULD I HELP YOU?
If a data thief tricks you, or another customer, into sending them money for goods or services, or into handing over credit card details, will you receive those goods or services? What might they do with your credit card?
We live in a community and rightful functioning of that community depends on each and everyone of us. Don’t underestimate your individual contribution. Our common community objective is simple, that is to identify and eliminate data thieves.
Why would you tolerate someone who steals your private information and utilises it for personal financial gain? At Fast and Fresh, we strongly believe in privacy and data protection, that’s why we’re willing to reward those who help us maintain it. We will reward you as a customer whistleblower and we will finance the entire prosecution team to ensure smooth and swift justice.
